Clear uninterrupted views will be obtained of the Zuni Rim (Rattlesnake Canyon to some of the locals) about 8 miles south. This spans around 100 degrees along the horizon.

Once a home is established, we plan to build a 10ft high platform to observe the desert. This observation deck will have solar powered lights, and remote controlled wildlife observation cameras. A Weather Station will be mounted on top. It should look similar to the type shown below (not sure if the girls will come with it).
