Got this camera for Christmas 2016; thanks Amanda. It has a Sim card & memory card so it can transmit any picture or video clip to an email address or Smart-phone. The solar panel charge up the batteries daily so it can operate for months without human intervention. Any movement by an animal will trigger the recording facility. The bowl of water is the bait, the camera was rotated to face the bowl.
We will be setting up a series of automated wildlife cameras around the site. These will be solar powered and based on motion detection. Some will be connected to the Verizon network to enable us to view highlighted activities from the UK.
We have the first fixed up in the desert - April 2017.
